Welcome to the Phoenix Project

"We have worked with The Phoenix Project this year and it has had a really positive impact on the students who have been supported. The staff are highly trained and skilled in dealing with pupils with a range of social, emotional and academic barriers and their personalised approach has enabled our students to continue with their learning. We are looking forward to developing our partnership in the next academic year"

David Bullock, Headteacher Canon High School

Our mission

We understand that one size doesn’t fit all young people. We know there are many barriers that a young person can face that makes learning in a busy classroom, or attending a large school a daunting and difficult experience.

Our mission is to provide a compassionate, ambitious and inclusive learning experience for every student that chooses Phoenix.

We provide alternative online learning programmes for school age students year 5 to 11. We cater for schools looking for a quality full time and part time alternative provision, families considering electively home educating or flexi-learning arrangements with their schools and young people struggling with emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA).
